OM Legal (OML) is a newly established, dynamic law firm situated in the heart of Clifton at Boating Basin, Karachi. OML offers a comprehensive range of legal services relating to corporate advisory and dispute resolution across various areas of legal practice. OUR FIRM

Head of Chambers, Omer Memon (OM), was formerly a partner at leading law firm – Mohsin Tayebaly & Co.(MTC) and was previously at RIAA Barker Gillette. With his diverse experience spanning almost a decade and a half, he has in the past advised and represented various leading banks and other financial institutions, FMCGs, high net worth individuals and other companies / organizations in a range of civil and commercial litigation relating to land disputes, contractual disputes, labour law related matters, company law related matters, banking matters, customs related matters, intellectual property law matters (relating to trademark and copyrights) etc. and has more than a dozen reported judgments on the aforementioned areas of law.

He has considerable experience in advising and representing various companies in the petroleum, energy and power sector including – (i) Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) such as Shell Pakistan (now Wafi Energy Pakistan), Fossil Fuels (Pvt.) Ltd., Max Fuels (Pvt.) Ltd. and others, (ii) Independent Power Producers (IPPs), (iii) Power Generation and Distribution Companies such as K – Electric, Hub Power Company Limited (HUBCO) and others, on a range of issues and also represented them before various regulatory bodies such as Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA), Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and in a number of litigation cases before the Courts at Karachi and High Court of Balochistan (at Quetta).
